One command installs the newest signed, Apple-notarized version for your Mac and opens it.

- Click Copy above, paste into Terminal with ⌘ V and press Return.
- Enter your Mac password (typing is hidden). The installer picks the right version for your chip, checks Apple's signature, installs the app and opens it.
- Press Connect. The first connect asks for your password once to set up the network helper. After that it never asks again.
How to uninstall
Run this in Terminal. It disconnects, restores your network settings and removes the app, its helper and its settings. Dragging the app to the Trash leaves the helper behind.

How it works
How do the downloads work and where are they hosted?
Each button downloads the official installer for your system (.exe for Windows, .dmg for macOS). Releases are code-signed and hosted on GitHub Releases, so you can check they haven’t been tampered with.
What happens during installation?
The installer adds the CyberForget app and a secure virtual network interface using WireGuard® (the Wintun driver on Windows, a native Network Extension on macOS). Traffic from every app is encrypted before it leaves your computer.
How is the secure connection set up?
When you press Connect, the app creates an X25519 key pair on your device. The private key never leaves it; only the public key is sent to request a session. WireGuard then encrypts the tunnel with ChaCha20-Poly1305.
How does the no-logs setup protect me?
Our nodes run in memory without persistent databases for connection data, so we don’t keep connection times, IP addresses, bandwidth use or browsing history. When you disconnect, the session state is gone.
