StatusCake is a website monitoring service that helps businesses keep track of the uptime and performance of their websites.
You may want to delete your StatusCake account if you are no longer using the service, or if you want to remove your personal data from the company's servers.
StatusCake states a data retention period of 12 months after account deletion. Back-ups and statutory records can fall outside that figure, so request written confirmation from support if you need certainty.
The stated recovery window is 30 days. Once that passes the deletion is permanent and the account cannot be restored.
Deleting your account means: loss of monitoring data; loss of access to account. Export or download anything you want to keep before you begin â it is normally not recoverable afterwards.
Have the following ready: account password. Having it to hand avoids getting part-way through the flow and having to start again.
StatusCake is recorded as GDPR compliant and recorded as CCPA compliant. If you are in the EU or California you can also file a formal erasure request under GDPR Article 17 or the CCPA â that route creates a record you can follow up on, separately from the in-product delete flow.
Common alternatives include Pingdom, UptimeRobot, New Relic. If you are switching because of how StatusCake handles your data, check the replacement's retention and deletion policy before you migrate.
Closing your StatusCake account does not remove the copies that data brokers and people-search sites still hold. Compare every free data broker removal option →
