SigFig allows a recovery window of unspecified — if you change your mind within this period you may be able to restore your account. After that the deletion becomes permanent.
SigFig does not publish a retention period for closed accounts. If the timeline matters to you, ask SigFig support for written confirmation of when your data is removed, and what is retained for legal or accounting reasons.
Deleting your account means: loss of all account data and settings. Export or download anything you want to keep before you begin — it is normally not recoverable afterwards.
Have the following ready: email address associated with the account. Having it to hand avoids getting part-way through the flow and having to start again.
SigFig is recorded as GDPR compliant and recorded as CCPA compliant. If you are in the EU or California you can also file a formal erasure request under GDPR Article 17 or the CCPA — that route creates a record you can follow up on, separately from the in-product delete flow.
